Marlene Van Sickle, CPA, founder and managing partner, directs the firm and serves as the lead CPA on client engagements. She brings more than 30 years of experience in tax preparation and planning, client services, and new business development.  Prior to starting her own firm, Van Sickle held various accounting roles, including eight years as client services director at The Mangold Group, CPAs, PC, in Austin, and nine years as a partner, McNeal & Company, CPAs, in Tipton, Indiana. Her expertise is helping organizations develop and implement a tax strategy most beneficial to their desired business outcomes. With a life-long passion for cars, Van Sickle is a racecar driver and has been working with clients in the auto industry for decades. Van Sickle has a master of science in accounting and finance from Purdue University Krannert School of Management. 

Patricia Billings, client manager, is responsible for account management at Van Sickle CPA. Billings has been with the firm since 2019 and conducts day-to-day engagement with clients. She enjoys working with clients to help small businesses run more efficiently and provide peace of mind. She is working towards her Enrolled Agent certification, which is the highest credential the IRS awards after passing a comprehensive test covering individual and business tax returns. Billings also is a QuickBooks Online Certified ProAdvisor. Prior to Van Sickle CPA, Billings worked in customer service, auto industry sales and account management. When she is not working, Patricia enjoys spending time with her husband Patrick, and daughter, Daisy.
